Dr. Cara Filce (Sacramento, SSC)

With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound, Dr. Cara Filce specializes in working with baseball players and overhead athletes. She blends evidence-based rehabilitation with a deep understanding of the unique demands of throwing sports, helping athletes return to play safely and perform at a higher level. In addition to rehabilitation, she has a strong background in strength and conditioning, with extensive experience coaching groups and individuals to build resilience, improve performance, and reduce injury risk. Originally from Lake Tahoe, Cara grew up skiing, hiking, and mountain biking—sports that shaped her appreciation for movement, the outdoors, and an active lifestyle. That passion carries into her work today, where she is committed to helping every patient get back to the sports and activities they love.
