Dr. Elizabeth “Lizzy” Yanez
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Elizabeth Yanez is a compassionate and detail-oriented physical therapist who brings a strong orthopedic foundation and a passion for helping others move with confidence. A graduate of Arcadia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Lizzy developed her clinical skills through diverse experiences in outpatient orthopedics, post-acute rehabilitation, and sports performance environments. Her journey includes rotations with Adventist Health and Rideout, Sacramento Post-Acute, and Spine & Sport Physical Therapy, where she treated post-surgical and general orthopedic conditions, collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams, and guided patients through recovery with a clear focus on individualized care. Lizzy’s strength lies in her ability to connect with patients through education, empathy, and clear communication. Her approach balances clinical precision with motivation and encouragement, helping clients regain function, achieve goals, and return to what they love most.
Dr. Brett Lando
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Brett Lando brings extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics and a strong foundation in advanced orthopedic and manual physical therapy to KIME. With more than a decade of clinical practice, Brett enjoys helping patients restore movement, build strength, and confidently return to the activities and sports that matter to them. His clinical interests include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, progressive exercise, return-to-sport testing, and bike fitting for recreational and competitive cyclists. Brett combines hands-on treatment with individualized exercise and movement assessment to help patients progress from injury through recovery and back to performance. At KIME, Brett brings a depth of clinical experience and a commitment to individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients achieve meaningful and lasting results.
Dr. Jon Guinee
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Jon completed his doctoral work at Sacramento State University, receiving his doctorate of physical therapy. He is a competitive middle-distance runner competing at 5K, 10K, and half-marathon distances. Jon extends his passion for endurance sports by working with runners, cyclists, and other outdoor enthusiasts. He is also a certified bike fitter to maximize the alignment and performance on your ride. He has endured quite a journey and achieved great success in his own life. Growing up and into his young adult life living as an overweight, unhealthy, and unmotivated person, he has firsthand experience with the resilience of the human body and the transformative power of movement.
